Welcome
Our family, the Hammer family, arrived in Andalusia in June 2015. Since then, we have reinvented ourselves several times, discovered our own hidden talents, and embarked on new adventures.
After settling in the interior east of Málaga (Axarquía), we began to appreciate and love this region. We developed the idea for our first rural house, Paz y Más in Riogordo, to also showcase this beautiful inland area to travelers in Andalusia.
Later, we added the impressive stone house El Ciruelo Loco in Alfarnate. Most recently, we renovated the charming little village house, Casita Flor de Nieve in Riogordo, for travelers seeking medium to long-term stays.
During the COVID lockdown, we had to face the harsh reality that all of our vital income was based solely on tourism. From this experience, we drew the conclusion and the drive to venture into another direction. That’s when our extra virgin olive oil export business to Switzerland was born.
Our poodle Picasso (2011) has been part of our family since before we moved to Spain. Later, our crazy Fanta (Fantástico Fuego vom Zunderborn (2016)) joined, followed by our little princess Easy (2019)...
Our most recent project is a café/bistro in Riogordo. At the moment, we are sorting out paperwork and hope to begin renovations soon to open Bistro Tarai as soon as possible.
